Some of My Favorite Christmas Gifts for 2010

I can't believe the Christmas holiday is almost over...I say almost because I refuse to take my trees down until the 12th day of Christmas! Sometimes it is even longer than that...my son's birthday is January 5th and I try to leave the trees up until his party is over. In this case, they will be still standing until this coming Monday! Everything else has been slowly packed up and put away (I cannot stand the clutter and disorganization of my house any longer...it makes me cranky...like when your walking around in underwear that is too tight!)

I'm running really behind everyone else in sharing Christmas photos, we have had a lot going on and I haven't had the time to put it all together, but I was able to do a little this morning! So here it goes....

My Favorite Gifts

 My Daughter and Son-In-Law bought me a charm with my Granddaughter's baby picture on it to add to the charm bracelet that I got when I was a baby...

I have my baby picture, my son's and my oldest daughter's on there...now I have to go get my other two younger daughter's as well!

My first piece of transfer ware that I want to start collecting (after much debate between the red/pink or brown...the brown won!)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my vintage Westinghouse fan! As soon as I clear off my desk downstairs, it will be placed there (that will hopefully be done before next Christmas---ugh...procrastination!)

My Anthropologie measuring spoons ( I could have easily bought out all of their door knobs and drawer pulls too...well...I could have easily done that had I won the lottery anyway!)

...and my hanging scale! I saw this baby in the antique store (after the first one I had been eyeing for months was sold), called my husband and asked if I could buy it for him to give me for Christmas, and I ran home and hung it up before he came home so I wouldn't have to wait until Christmas to use it!! I was just being thoughtful...I didn't want him to have to wrap if it wasn't necessary...I'm wonderful that way :)

I did get a lot of other wonderful things, I was really spoiled this year, but these were some of my favorite!

I'm going to do a separate post of Christmas/New Years because I don't want to make this too long! Plus, I have to run out and buy my son's birthday gifts and I'm still in my jammies!!
