1. What is your holiday wish for your family?
To make memories that will last forever the whole Christmas season, not just Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
2. What is your Christmas morning tradition?
We have the kids all sleep in the same room and we give them a cell phone so they can call us when they wake up. Then me and my husband go out and turn on all the lights, put the music on, light the fire, make our coffee, and get the camera's ready for when they walk into the room...my parents did that with me too!
3. If you could ask Santa for one, completely decadent wish for yourself, what would it be?
To pay for the rest of my college tuition!
4. How do you make the holidays special without spending any money?
We pile the kids in the car, turn on the Christmas music, bring drinks and snacks and go drive around looking at all the Christmas lights.
5. What games did you play with your family growing up?
Pokeno and twister.
6. What holiday tradition have you carried on from your own childhood?
Reading a story together on Christmas Eve.
7. Where would you go for a Christmas-away-from-home trip?
The Outer Banks in North Carolina.

driving around, looking at lights, is a favorite of ours, too. kate can't get enough of them, and it gives us a chance to all do something together.
