A Christmas Vignette
Happy Thursday!! I spent all day working on unfinished projects and it felt really good to finish
I alternated spraying the silver, then the water hose, then the caramel, then the silver, then the water hose, then the caramel until I was happy with the way it looked.
Once the water droplets dried, I took a pair of old boxers (thank you to my husband for supplying my project rags) and gently rubbed the outside to expose the glass underneath.
Done!! I took a basket that I already had, and filled it with fresh pine branches, real pine cones (with a few little outdoor, woodsy, spiders attached...ick), and my faux mercury glass candle holders. I took some burlap and wrapped the top and voila...it is a simple, inexpensive vignette!
The only problem I'm having now is where I'm going to place it for the holidays.....here....
It's sitting on top of my Pottery Barn wine rack and you see it as soon as you walk up my steps and come into the living room. The other option I'm thinking of is here.....
On a chair in my hallway....what do you think? I can't decide!!
