Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all those men and women (and their families) who work everyday to uphold our freedoms...I appreciate each and every one of you for the sacrafices you make for us!! Thank you to Jake, Jesse, Dani Jill, Ritchie, Mandie, Patrick, Don, and to all those who have served in the past (love and miss you lots Granddad!)
So, I have been working on Christmas decorations since 9 a.m. this morning, and this is what I have done so far!
My dollar store tree...add some small decorations and you get...
It's just some berries, acorns from outside covered in glitter, and bells.
A thrift store plate $.45 and a door decoration from walmart $1.50....
Some plain, wooden letters in a bag with tissue tape from Michael's (plus some Martha Stewart glitter...sorry the pictures aren't great with the detail, I don't have a fancy camera) and a dollar store bucket can make....
And some more of those...
And some of the other dollar store items I bought and turned into Christmas stuff...
My snowballs...
Very, very messy, but so much fun!!! I have a footed glass bowl that I'm going to put these in when they dry. I'm also still waiting for two chalkboard, count down to Christmas frames to be done drying and then I will be done making crafts for at least a week or so! It was fun, the kids had off school today for Veterans day, so I sat in my PJ's drinking my coffee, listening to Christmas music, and wore out my glue gun!! I hope everyone enjoyed their Veteran's Day today!

All of those letters are adorable! Had never heard of tissue tape before.
