I am nestled in bed with my blankets all around me, a fire is roaring in my fake fireplace, I have a candle lit that I can't smell because my nose is too congested, I have a cup (a small measuring one) of Theraflu on my nightstand, and a good book to read. Me and my girls have been sick for the past two days so I'm not getting much done on my to do list, but I have been able to read some books that I just bought with my gift cards to Barnes and Nobles. Right now I am reading Rhys Bowen's "A Royal Spyness Mystery" series, I'm on book 2 "A Royal Pain," and I really like them. The book is about Lady Georgiana, who is thirty-fourth in line to the throne, set in 1930's London, and she is always in the middle of some kind of trouble that she has to get herself, or family out of. Has anyone else read those? Any other suggestions for some good books to read?
Also, I was thinking of doing a "What's for dinner Wednesday," and with me being sick, I would have to say tonight would be....nothing. Luckily, my husband is going to pick up Chinese (I for some reason always crave Hot and Sour Soup, Duck Sauce, and Chicken and Broccoli when I'm sick). Well, back to my book and Theraflu I go, hopefully tomorrow I will be able to finish the night stand I started on a few days ago and post some pics!
Thanks for the comments! I hate my nose too!! I think its big and .... big! SO I thought adding a little bling to it would make it pretty! And I Love it!! I am so glad I did it!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by, following, and leaving your sweet words. I really appreciate it. Sorry to read that you're under the weather. I think something is brewing in our household so I had better stock up on the Theraflu, too. Enjoy your reading and feel better soon, sweetie.

Well, feel better soon and read as much as you can! That's the best part of being sick for me...the downtime to read.
