I have a few minutes to post a small project that I did for my daughter (I'm trying desperately to get ready for Thanksgiving). She has lots of little bits and pieces of paper, so after seeing several types of these picture frame memo boards on different blog sites, I decided to try one. I used Krylon spray paint to paint an old Walmart frame that was originally oak, white, distressed it a little, and then I used the Krylon Aqua paint for the clothes pins. I chose several scrap booking stickers to put on the clothes pins just to add a little character. The clothes pins are attached to hemp rope. My daughter loves this, and I only spent about $4.00 total (and that is with lots of stickers and hemp left over.)
Happy Thursday everyone, there is only a week left to get ready for Turkey Day!!

Very cute, I'm sure you(or your daughter) will find a use for those extra stickers!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! This is such a practical and thrifty project! If you include a photo of the Krylon paint, you could link up to the DIY Project Party monthly contest at The DIY Club! I know the other DIY Gals would love how you used your Krylon paint!
