HAPPY HALLOWEEN
I hope everyone had as much fun Trick-or-Treating as we did! We took the girls to my Sister's house in Annapolis so they could go out with my niece Haley. There was a lot of laughing (adults as well as the kids), candy collecting, running up and down stairs, eating yummy food, listening to great music, and most important---the great candy trade-off...
I will be checking their bags tonight while they are sleeping to make sure they are even. If there are too many orange wrappers in one bag, I'll have to
It's sad how quickly October flew by...but my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, so I am looking forward to preparing for that!
A RE-PURPOSED FOOTSTOOL
I found an old, scuffed up, wooden footstool when I went out thrifting one day and had to bring it home with me! Other than being heavily marked up, the rest of the stool was solid. I sanded it down, painted, distressed, and glazed it. I added a cushion at the top in one of my favorite fabric prints.
